Feedback from Owners on their purchase of a ¼ share at Paku Lodge
We have found by being ¼ share owners at Paku Lodge, that a whole new world has opened up to us as far as quality family time and holidays together is concerned.
The main, obvious advantage to us is that when we arrive we are there for a break from the usual rat race. We do not lift a finger other than unloading the car with our usual provisions - there are no lawns to mow, no maintenance required, just crack open a beer, sit on the balcony and soak it all up (including the beer!).
We have 2 young boys who, like us, look forward to our stays at Paku Lodge. They are old enough now to be just set free to enjoy the plethora of things to be done, i.e. fishing, swimming, boogie boarding, etc - all within a few minutes walk.
We have no regrets whatsoever about being owners. I believe the ¼ share concept works well in making it possible for the average working class family to gain access to the most privileged type of waterside accommodation when it would otherwise be unattainable to have ownership.

I have always had a dream of owing a beach front holiday home, but never thought I would ever be able to afford one- Paku Lodge 1/4 shares have made this dream achievable. We love our apartment and what Tairua has to offer, summer & winter. We can be as relaxed or active as we like- there is always something to do or not!. We stay regularly, on site management look after it for us when we are not there and we get a return- What more could we ask for.
Our own little touch of South Pacific paradise surrounded by the unique beauty of the Coromandal landscape (just to remind us we are still in NZ). The magic view from our apartment and balcony is so picturesque, we never tire of it. We feel very fortunate.

Everything I love doing is close so I can ride my bike or walk there...swimming and kayaking in the harbour which is just over the road, boogie boarding at the surf beach, tennis, ball kicking at the rugby field, walks up Paku Hill and next time we come down I am going to learn to fish. And there is always room so I can bring a friend. It's cool! (Our son Cam, 10yrs old)

'In spite of the terrible financial climate at the moment, we have never regretted our purchase of a quarter share of an apartment in Paku Lodge, and have already enjoyed several relaxing and enjoyable weeks in it. We thoroughly recommend Paku Lodge as a venue - beautiful views, lots to do and peace of mind knowing that the apartmnts are well managed in our absence.'

Peace and quiet, no phone, and no major traffic noise makes Paku Lodge the perfect place to relax and unwind away from life's stresses.
Add to that, a million dollar view for close to a hundred thousand dollars, and nowhere could be better. By only our second visit, we walked in to our apartment and said, 'it feels like coming home.' We love it, and know it was the right decision.

Having a place in Pauanui for many years we decided to sell and see a bit more of NZ. However the Coromandel obviously had more of a pull than we thought, because on a trip by Ferry from Pauanui to Tairua one weekend we got off at Paku to get some exercise and walk into town. On the way we saw Paku Lodge selling ¼ shares and to cut a long story short we went ahead and purchased a share. We have had quite a laugh as we reckoned that was the most expensive ferry trip we have ever been on!! Since then we have had many lovely days staying there during our week, so much so, we bought another ¼ share in the apartment next door so our family and friends can take advantage of it as well.
It is such a beautiful spot, with a lovely safe beach for the littlies and Nana & Grandad and a good take off point for people with boats. Not only that, the whole place has been fantastically managed. When you arrive everything is spic and span.
I would recommend Paku Lodge to anyone thinking of buying something as an investment, and at the same time somewhere to go for lots of R & R.

As a busy family with school age children we love coming to Paku Lodge which is very family friendly. It's an awesome time away for us as a family in our lovely apartment. We also have our own business so we are contactable by phone or email when required - what better way to conduct business than by sitting on the deck looking out over the beautiful scene of Tairua Harbour - and we can do this every 4 weeks!

Paku Lodge is our favourite place. We bought 2 quarter shares in an apartment, (which lets us be more flexible in our use of the apartment), when they first went on the market & have been down there as often as possible to enjoy the peace, tranquillity and views to die for. Paku Lodge is a great place for our growing extended family to relax & enjoy the safe beach right opposite and beautiful surrounds and great walks.
The apartment is well appointed & we can arrive knowing everything we need is there, and there are excellent managers looking after our investment & interests.
We also enjoy sitting on the deck for our meals or a barbecue and watching all the action of the water craft & tide coming & going.
Also, as we have kayaks, it is easy to launch them, and enjoy the harbour or the sea. Great fishing is to be had as well.
